Do I need to be home during cleaning?
You do not need to be home while we clean, although you are more than welcome. All we need is a way in (garage code, key box, etc.).
Note: We are not responsible for alarm systems that are set and Maid OK is not given a code. We would prefer you to call the office to give codes and we put them in private notes so the maids do not have access to them once your home is cleaned.
As long as your pets are nice and are accepting of our maids, we will love them! If they are not friendly or will be a nuisance while we clean, you will need to find other arrangements for them. Being kenneled is perfectly fine.
Who will be in my home? Can I trust them?
Our cleaning professionals go through a rigorous vetting process including a background check, drug test, and extensive training. Typically, we send two maids to provide cleaning services. But if the job is more extensive, we may send up to four.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
We bring our own cleaning equipment and supplies. You do not need to provide anything unless you have a preference for certain products to be used.
Can I customize my cleaning?
Absolutely! We provide a priority list for you to complete ahead of time. Our maids will work the list until time runs out or we have completed the list. If we run out of time and you do not approve extra time, the maids will stop. The list provided can not be altered upon arrival of your visit.
Am I required to sign a contract?
Contracts are not required. You may cancel your recurring cleaning at any time.
Do I need anything before the maids arrive?
We ask you to pick up the clutter before we come. If we pick up the clutter, it takes up cleaning time.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you have to reschedule or cancel for any reason, let us know at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations will be charged the full cleaning amount as we do not overbook our schedule.
What if my recurring cleaning falls on a holiday?
The holidays we do not work are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. We typically work on all other holidays. If your schedule falls on one of these days, we will contact you about a month before the cleaning to ask which day you prefer.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
You are more than welcome to leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter. All customers are required to put a card on file. If no cash or check is left, your card will be charged.
What is the time of arrival?
We are happy to make a note if you prefer the morning or afternoon. The day before your scheduled cleaning, we will call with an estimated arrival time. On the day of your cleaning, our maids will call or text you when they head your way.
Do you guarantee your cleaning services?
We guarantee our work 100% or your money back. If you are not satisfied, let us know immediately and we will make it right within 48 hours at no additional cost.
Tipping is not expected but is a nice gesture. Tipping is done at your discretion. You can add the tip to your check, leave cash, or call our office to add a tip to your credit card payment.
Are you bonded and insured?
Maid OK is bonded and insured. If you need documentation, please get in touch with our office.
Note: If something is broken during a cleaning, we will promptly make every effort to have the item repaired or replaced. All Maid OK employees are fully insured to guarantee the safety of your possessions.
