Oklahoma City house cleaning checklist
By Maid OK
A cleaner house is easier to keep clean than to rescue. Use this list between visits, or walk it before a deep clean so the crew can spend time on the work you cannot reach.
Kitchen
- Clear counters so the sink, stove, and backsplash can actually be wiped.
- Empty the dishwasher or leave a note if you want it loaded.
- Toss expired fridge items if you want the interior wiped.
Bathrooms
- Pick up toiletries from the tub edge and vanity.
- Empty bathroom trash.
- Hang used towels so they are not covering the floor the crew needs to mop.
Living areas and bedrooms
- Straighten surfaces. Dusting around clutter takes longer and looks worse.
- Put laundry in a hamper, not on the bed.
- If pets shed heavily, a quick vacuum of furniture first helps the final pass.
Before a Maid OK visit
Share gate codes, pets, and any rooms to skip when you book. The 49-point process covers kitchens, baths, floors, and high-touch spots — this checklist is how you make that hour count.
